Oregon Coast Trip
Posted by Steve on March 30th, 2008We spent Easter weekend and most of last week frolicking on the Oregon Coast. Jen found us a great vacation rental (shown above), and we visited several of our favorite haunts along the coast.
As you can see, the weather wasn’t all bad. In fact, about half of the days were downright spectacular (especially for the Oregon Coast in March). Of course, we had our share of stormy days, too, but we don’t go to the coast in March or April year after year expecting to get tan! But just look at that gorgeous, sunny sandy beach!
As you may have guessed, I took a lot of photos with my new camera… like the one above of a tidepool at Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area. Despite its awkwardly verbose official name, Yaquina Head is one of those places we return to year after year, as are the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Devil’s Churn — both of which we also visited on this trip.
Over the next several days (weeks?) I’m going to be posting several photo sets from our trip. Each set will have some kind of theme. Stay tuned!

Looking forward to the photos. Can you believe I’ve never really been to the famous Oregon coast?
