The few rose bushes that live in our yard spent most of the summer in black plastic nursery containers while the patio and sideyard were being renovated. We did not tend to the poor plants as we should have. However, once the landscaping work was done, we replanted them in the new raised bed in our side yard, and the roses sprang back to life. Jen recently picked a few of the flowers, and I thought I’d share some photos. In addition to seeing the beautiful roses, you can also get a sneak-peek at our newly remodeled kitchen. (If you look closely, you may notice the numerous small pieces of blue painter’s tape marking locations where touch-ups are still needed!) We’ll be posting additional photos of the kitchen soon!
