One year ago today at 6:45 in the morning, our sweet little boy, Evan, was born. The hours and days that followed his birth were unexpectedly stressful as he was transported by ambulance to Portland where he spent the next several days under careful observation. Ultimately, everything resolved on its own, and we were finally able to bring Evan home with us. But those were some tense days and nights that, no matter how many birthdays pass, we will never forget. Those memories will forever reinforce how incredibly lucky we are to have such an amazing little guy in our lives.
