Evan turned 7 months old yesterday, January 8th. Here he is on his birthday wearing his way-cool “iPod” shirt from Uncle Tim & Aunt Kim. The time seems to be flying by! Not long ago he was a newborn that relied on us for everything. Now he is rolling around and creeping to get to his toys, reaching for people, eating lots of different foods, and expressing himself through facial expressions and noises. As he continues to grow, I’m sure he will continue to communicate his likes and dislikes to us.

This month here are a few of Evan’s favorite and least favorite things.

Favorite things:

• the turtle that plays music and lights up
• Dad holding him like an airplane and flying him around the house
• pears and frozen apple slices
• seeing the baby in the mirror

Least Favorite things:

• Mom talking on the phone, instead of talking with him
• rolling onto a hard object
• how long it takes to get ready for bed after his bath
