Just wanted to wish our American friends and family a happy 4th of July. We had a pretty low-key weekend at home with Evan. Our friends Tim & Kim came over for dinner on the 3rd and brought with them a feast of smoked ribs, corn salad, and fruit salad. We provided potato salad, rolls, and the dessert pictured here. (I thought I’d try my hand at a little food photography for a change!) It is panna cotta topped with fresh blueberries and raspberries (i.e., a red, white, and blue dessert). Everything tasted soooo good, and it was really nice to just hang out with friends for a few hours. Unfortunately, Kim did not get to experience the joy of projectile spit-up…. All in good time, all in good time!
