Happy Birthday, Gauss!

We finally celebrated Gauss’s birthday yesterday. The picture shows him patiently waiting to continue eating the cheese omelet I made him for breakfast! Gauss’s actual birthday is March 4, but the poor guy was on an “elimination diet” at that time in order to determine if he had any underlying food allergies. (The results suggest that he does not.) So we delayed the celebration a few weeks so that he could enjoy some special treats.

Our collie had a intestinal and gastric issues for some time. We had been giving him this one pill per month heart worm, fleas, etc. We changed that to an ointment that was put on the back of his head, and his dietary issues went away.

This could be the kind of thing that is bothering Gauss.
