One week from today…

Posted by Steve on January 13th, 2005

One week from today, we will have another ultrasound done. The first ultrasound was done to determine the due date; this one will be done to examine the baby’s anatomy and, if possible, to determine if it’s a boy or a girl. Obviously, we’re excited to find out!

I’m sorry the blog has been so quiet as of late. There’s not a whole lot to report, though, and I just haven’t gotten into that stream of consciousness blogging that a lot of people do… yet. Anyway, I can report that Jen’s morning sickness has largely subsided. She still has her moments, but they seem very infrequent now. I think her biggest complaint is constantly having to go to the bathroom as a result of drinking in excess of 64 fl. oz. of water daily. Yikes!

Jen’s been really busy lately, too. She has started a water aerobics class for pregnant and post-pregnant women, and she had her first pregnancy massage earlier this week. The aerobics are currently 3 nights per week, and she’s planning to get a massage once every couple weeks. When you combine those items with the fact that she is still doing agility training with Gauss every Thursday evening, well, you can see that our weeks are busier than ever!

I’ve been planning a minor baby-related project for the garage: installing an attic ladder. How is that baby-related, you ask? All I can say is that if you saw what will eventually be the baby’s room, you would understand. I am forgoing diving this weekend (I think) in order make some serious headway on that project.

And speaking of diving… well, I haven’t been doing much. My last dive was on New Year’s Day up in Netarts, OR. It was a long drive, but it was still a good day. I saw my first Monkeyface Prickleback Eels on that dive!

Well, this has gone on long enough. Until next time….
