We went to our first official pregnancy “class” tonight. It was “Healthy Pregnancy.” Nothing too revolutionary. The nurse who did the class was very relaxed and friendly. There were only three other couples plus one other woman there. Did you know that on average a woman will gain 3.5 lbs. in extra blood alone? (That’s in addition to the 7-9 lbs. that the baby weighs.) Amazing. Anyway. There were lots of other interesting things discussed in the class, but I’m pretty sure they would not be of general interest.
