Most you have seen our Adventure Pages. Over the years, we’ve done lots of fun and exciting things together. Well, we are very proud and excited to announce that we’ve embarked on the biggest adventure in our lives so far: We’re having a baby!

Last Thursday, we heard the heartbeat for the first time, and we started sharing the news with our immediate families. Then, this afternoon we had the first ultrasound in order to pin down the due date. Everything is looking good, so we’ve started sharing the news with our friends and extended family.

We are about 13 weeks into the pregnancy. Jen has had moderate(?) “morning” sickness (boy, what a misnomer!). It’s been persistent, but she hasn’t had to miss work yet and she’s been able to continue eating a variety of foods. The original due date was set for June 20, 2005, but after today’s ultrasound the due date has been revised to June 14, 2005.

We’re going to use our new blog to keep you up to date with what is going on. This is the place to visit if you want to see what’s up. But of course, the baby will have its own section on our website where you may eventually find more information (photos and such): Baby’s web page.
